Have Yourself...

Happy Wednesday from a chilly Nebraska!  I am here with a "Christmas in July" card.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE Christmas.  I could listen to Christmas music any day of the year and love watching Christmas movies (which the Hallmark Channel just got done showing 10 days of)!  So with that being said, I would like to share with you this ADORABLE card with you!

I LOVE how this card turned out by using non-traditional Christmas colors.  The hot pink and bright green just pop with the black/white polka dot paper.  Plus...I am absolutely LOVING the NEW Jillian Vance "Holly & Swirls" Die Set and the "Vintage Frame" Die Set.  These dies you are definitely going to want to add to your collection...TODAY!  I paired these die sets with the NEW Jillian Vance "Merry and Bright" Stamp Set, which has AWESOME sayings!

I know I just can't get enough of these cute holly leaves and berries.  I did take a black pen and outlined the leaves and berries, just to get a more detail on them and also took a Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pen to the leaves and berries.  I just wanted a little "glistening" to them!

Card Recipe:
Simple Stories "Forever & Always" paper (Black/White polka dot paper)
Hot Pink and Green Cardstock
Tombow Adhesive
Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pen
Sakura pink marker
Black pen for outline work
Best Creations 3D foam pop squares
Gingham ribbon

Thanks everyone for stopping by and looking!!

Blessings & Hope...

Worth the Hassle!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  With May fast approaching, I know a lot of us will be attending LOTS of Graduations...both High School and College.  It is nice to celebrate with the graduates and see what they accomplished through out the years.  It is also exciting to hear their dreams and goals for the future.  A chapter is closing and a new one is beginning!

I want to share this Graduation card that I created using AJVD"Con{grad}ulations" stamp set.  This is one of my FAVORITE sets....I LOVE the diploma and all the fun sayings.  Just think how you could use this set with your grads school paper or the colors of the school.  It was so much fun to make!

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card!

Sharing in Sorrow

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you all are enjoying your April, can't believe it is almost over!  I'm back in Minneapolis again and of course they are calling for snow again tonight!  I seriously think that is the way Minnesota greets me when I come up here.  At least the snow doesn't last long and warmer weather is definitely on its way!

I'd like to share with you a very simple but nice Sympathy card. These are one kind of cards that I hate to make but yet, unfortunately, we seem to need the most. I used "Simply Sympathy" stamp set along with the "tranquil tree" die.

The paper collection is We R Memory Keepers, "Country Livin'". Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card.

Blessings and Hope...

AJVD Get Well Soon

Happy Wednesday AJVD fans!  Today I want to share with you a CHEERY get well card.  Lately, I have had lots of friends and family going through a variety of different illnesses and it's always nice to just send a little note to lift them up.  Who wouldn't enjoy getting this BRIGHT card?  I used the AJVD Happy Healing Stamp Set, which is just perfect for making that special card for someone sick or fighting an illness.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today.  Please feel free to stop by my blog and check out my other creations, Mistyical Creations!

Green Thanks!

Happy Wednesday! I'm here with a card of Thanks that is FULL of GREEN!!

This was a FUN challenge and one that I really wasn't sure what I was going to create.  I knew I didn't want just plain green cardstock, so I started digging to see what I had.  I happened to find some GREEN pattern paper that when good together, and found the green glitter paper.  So I just began to play and I think it turned out better than planned!  My favorite part of it...the GLITTER paper...I think it makes the card just pop.  PLUS....you could say I even got a little GREEN with the die cuts as I did use the EMERALD Backdrop Die Set too!  How fun is that?!?!  If you haven't used the Daisy Die Set, you seriously need to.  This has quickly become one of my favorite dies that we have.  I love the flowers and use them on everything!

Thank you so much for stopping and looking.

Blessings & Hope...

A Little Spring...

Only 15 days and SPRING will be HERE!  Well, I am sure it will end up happening in some parts of the country, just not sure if it will be EVERYWHERE but we can at least DREAM!  So with that being said, I think it is time we start getting ready for the BRIGHT colors and WARMER weather!  I know I am definitely ready for FLIP FLOPS and CAPRI'S...

Today, I am hoping to bring a little Spring your way!  I absolutely LOVE the way this card turned out and it just makes me SMILE...with the polka dots, chevrons, stripes and of course the butterfly!  Who wouldn't love to have this little butterfly find his way to their home?!?!  This collection of paper is from Moxxie's "Easter-rific" Collection and once again A Jillian Vance Stamps, go PERFECT with this collection!  I have been enjoying this AWESOME "Spring in Bloom" stamp set!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful and warm day...ok, well maybe in front of the fireplace, if you aren't lucky to live where it is warm!
